How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then go to Subscriptions. Find Hinahon and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Why does the app need microphone permission?

Hinahon uses your microphone to hear what you say during a practice call. Your voice is streamed in real time to our speech-to-text service (Deepgram) so the AI can respond naturally. Audio is processed and discarded immediately. Nothing is stored as a recording. Without microphone access, the call cannot work.

How are calls scored?

After each call, Hinahon sends your transcript to an AI model (Anthropic Claude) that grades your performance across six dimensions: opening, needs discovery, value communication, objection handling, closing, and overall tone. You also get on-device delivery metrics like pace, filler words, dead air, and interruptions. The score appears on screen within seconds of hanging up.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Account Settings inside the app and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all stored call transcripts. You can also email us at hinahon@wsbroundtable.com and we will delete it manually within 48 hours.

My call dropped or the AI stopped responding. What happened?

Call quality depends on your internet connection. If you experience a dropped call, check your Wi-Fi or cellular signal and try again. If the issue repeats, email us at hinahon@wsbroundtable.com with the date and time of the call and we will investigate.

I bought a call pack but my calls did not show up.

Purchases are processed through the App Store and may take a moment to activate. Close and reopen the app, then check your balance under Account. If the calls have not appeared after a few minutes, email us and include your Apple ID and purchase receipt.
